#533 Ring Bit
Made of polished, blued steel, inlayed and overlayed with sterling silver. Has a 5 inch loose-jawed mouthpiece. The distance from the center of the bar to where the ring hooks on at the top of the port is 2 inches. From the center of the bar to where the reins hook on is 1 1/2 inches. So it has 25% less leverage on the rider's side of the fulcrum. The part of the ring that is outside of the horse's mouth is wide and covered with latigo leather making this a kind and gentle bit.
